Retin-A

Retin-A is a prescription medication otherwise known as tretinoin. It is based on vitamin A, which is actually proven to increase the rate of skin cell turnover and therefore increase the rate at which your skin thickens itself, sheds away dead skin cells, and otherwise keeps acne away, even helping skin to achieve somewhat of a healthy glow in the end. It has been known to eliminate many cases, and in varying forms of course, vitamin A can deal with varying severities of acne. Retin A is in the middle, not like Accutane, but not weak to say the least.

The problem is that Retin-A is one of those treatments that you could find somewhere else for a cheaper price. You could find Retin-A like products over the counter and pay half as much. Moreover, either way, especially with Retin-A some would say, you will experience redness, irritation, peeling, allergic reactions, sensitivity to sun and wind, and other common side effects to vitamin A.

If you are going to try Retin-A, make sure you have a good sunscreen, a good moisturizer, etc. These things will definitely be needed to improve and regulate your skin. You cannot really prevent all side effects. However, if you use these two pieces, you won’t have to suffer through quite as many. However, ideally speaking, you should choose something else.
