DDF Blemish Foaming Cleanser

Sold through a myriad of sites, this blemish foaming cleanser comes from skincare company DDF, well known for some popular and in some cases impressive products. It contains to provide a gentle formula that is also extremely powerful, and completely devoid of irritants. It is apparently supposed to be one that “foams away sebum and blemish causing bacteria.” They also claim it will minimize irritation and discoloration. Its ingredients include salicylic acid, azalaic acid, red clover, calendula, golden seal extract, myrrh extract, and echinacea.

The only acne fighting ingredient in that whole array is salicylic acid, which can be found a dime a dozen in the acne market. The difference is DDF charges about $32, while most charge about $5 give or take a buck or two. The rest can be called soothing elements, but they have nothing to do with cleansing your face, fighting bacteria, etc. They are definitely not worth that amount, even if they were advertised properly and put in a moisturizer or something.

The DDF Blemish Foaming Cleanser is a disappointment, considering we have seen other DDF products that weren’t necessarily the best in their area, but they were better than most. We honestly expected better. But as it turns out, in terms of acne products, DDF doesn’t have the experience or maybe the desire to pull off descent products.
