Clearing acne supposedly with the power of knowledge and your dermatologist’s recommendations, Epiduo claims to be the only way, because over the counter medications apparently just don’t work, because they don’t have science backing them. Apparently, they have forgotten about all the scientific studies backing ingredients that are exclusively found in over the counter products such as salicylic acid and tea tree oil.

Ingredients of Epiduo include benzoyl peroxide and adapalene. Benzoyl peroxide is literally found in almost every over the counter medication, and it is considerably cheaper. Moreover, both benzoyl peroxide and adapalene cause severe irritation and other problems on their own. When combined, it is considered far too powerful by others in terms of its side effects and drying and irritating effect, not in its power to fight acne as it really only dries out the skin instead of really attacking bacteria.

Epiduo is not worth your time or money. It is sure to cause side effects and hurt your skin. However, it is definitely not meant to cause greater results. With Epiduo, you can be sure that you will experience serious regrets. We would not actually recommend even considering it.
