Tea tree oil is the first and foremost acne treatment that I would recommend. In fact, I would recommend it for problems like dandruff, herpes, and otherwise as well. It’s quite simple, it works. Now there are certainly more refined forms of tea tree oil, more powerful, more effective, etc. It just depends on what you get. So just because you think that you are getting tea tree oil in its best form from the grocery store does not mean you actually are getting that or you’re actually going to see results. You actually need a 5% concentration of tea tree oil to get the benefits they talk about in various advertisements and so on and so forth.
But most products you find using tea tree oil will not actually fulfill that requirement. It’s a powerful antibacterial and antiseptic, and it has been compared to benzoyl peroxide. But in a major case study, only one person suffered any side effects, and it was due to an allergic reaction, which frankly someone will suffer with any given medication. However, of course with benzoyl peroxide, there were quite significant side effects, but quite possibly less effective results than tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is on the rise at this time, and I personally hope it gets more popular. But really, only time will actually tell.
