There has been some level of hype about Acne Free Severe.  Many of us have already discovered that Proactiv is all too common and often doesn’t work, and we’ve discovered the same thing about Acne Free.  We’ve also discovered that when it does work, it definitely doesn’t work without side effects.  Even with their little moisturizers, it just has that drying effect that nobody really likes in all frankness.  But we have had hope in Acne Free Severe, because even if the original is way too weak, obviously this product is more powerful and otherwise improved, so why not? 

This being said, I looked into Acne Free Severe, and I found that the only thing they actually did was add retinol or vitamin A.  Retinol is known for its acne fighting properties, but then again so is benzoyl peroxide.  It realistically as far as results go, does not give you greater results as a whole, and retinol causes even more side effects than the norm.  So that’s never a good thing in all reality.  But all in all, it just shows a lack of results as a whole.  Acne Free Severe is no better than Acne Free or Proactiv, it’s like comparing Acne Free and saying it’s better than Proactiv.  But side effects are potentially worse.
